Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative, personalised, and culturally sensitive. I believe that effective therapy begins with understanding the whole person—their experiences, relationships, values, cultural background, and the unique challenges they face. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor each therapeutic journey to the individual's needs, drawing from a range of evidence-informed approaches to provide meaningful and lasting support. I work collaboratively with clients to explore not only the symptoms they are experiencing, but also the underlying patterns that may be shaping their emotional wellbeing, relationships, and daily life. Whether supporting individuals, couples, families, or expatriates, my aim is to help clients develop deeper self-understanding, strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships, and create sustainable, positive change in a safe, confidential, and compassionate environment.
Works With
Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, Families, Older Adults, Expatriates, and Executives.
About
Malaga Therapy is an international psychotherapy practice specialising in the emotional realities of living across cultures. We support individuals, couples and families navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional challenges and the unique psychological experiences that often accompany expatriation and international living.
Because therapy should adapt to people's lives—not the other way around—our services are delivered primarily online, allowing clients to access consistent psychological support wherever they are in the world. Our culturally sensitive, evidence-informed and integrative approach provides a safe, confidential space to better understand yourself, strengthen relationships and navigate life's challenges with greater clarity.
While online therapy is the most appropriate format for the vast majority of situations, some moments require more than a weekly session. Through Haven Rest Retreat, we also offer therapist-led immersive therapeutic retreats for individuals, couples and families who need dedicated time and intensive psychological support to work through complex personal, relational or life transitions in a private and confidential setting.
Whether online or through an immersive retreat, our philosophy remains the same: to provide thoughtful, high-quality psychological care that helps people move beyond coping and towards lasting understanding, resilience and meaningful change.

I believe therapy is more than treating symptoms
—it is about understanding the person behind them.
My role is to provide a safe, compassionate space
where insight leads to meaningful change,
resilience, and lasting personal growth.
